Dr. Parker received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Oklahoma. He then earned his Master of Science degrees in Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is one of a very few private practitioners in the country who practice both Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry simultaneously. This unique dual specialty training allows him to detect subtle problems with jaw growth and emerging teeth early on, many times preventing serious issues from arising.

Dr. Parker places great importance on innovation and staying current with dental and orthodontic advancements, and he is passionate about creating beautiful smiles. He is sensitive to the reservations patients can have when it comes to dental treatment, and has created a comfortable, fun environment filled with a team who is committed to excellence. Every patient in our office is given the same honest, consistent care he would provide his own family… His best Dad jokes are even included!

Dr. Alex Kirkpatrick was born and raised in Tulsa, OK, received his undergraduate degree at Oklahoma State University, placed top in his class at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, and completed his Pediatric Dental residency at The Ohio State University. You might say dentistry is in his blood, as his grandfather, uncle, dad and sister are all dentists!

Dr. Kirkpatrick found a passion for Pediatric Dentistry during his time in school, and enjoys getting to introduce his patients to the importance of dental care at a young age. He understands the apprehension some children have with dentistry, and strives to provide the best care with patience and comfort.

Dr. Kirkpatrick and his wife Rachael enjoy traveling, hiking and spending time with their Golden Retriever, Brinkley. They love being in Oklahoma, and are excited to begin a new adventure in Norman!
